Wading in the stream

Colorado canyon
bluegrass music sweetly plays
under the mid-day sun.

The cool mountain stream
cools my hot, sore, aching feet
as I walk it's path.

Happy revelers
bathe in cool water
While the sun beats down.

Mental photographs
warms the chilled places of my heart
during winter's cold.
