Lightly you drift across my mind
Icon of home
Gently, bringing memories of
Hearth, family, and friends,
Times of childhood, and
Holding my daughter's hand while
Out the pier we walked
Under the boardwalk with
Seagulls flying overhead.
Each memory is a jewel.
