The Web Poetry Corner - Dr. John Celes - Sonnet-This World is one

Sonnet-This World is one

by

Dr. John Celes

This world is one and all people are one;
All came from Adam, Eve- our first parents;
The Sky has many stars but single Sun;
The Decalogue remains our common fence.

The modern world is moving to be one;
The divisions of nations can't stay long;
The foes of man are always on the run;
Man must decide what’s right and what is wrong.

Goodness shall triumph always o'er evil;
All Atheists must realize one God;
Each one must win the war with the devil;
And prove that we are made from special clod.

The good or bad we do will affect all;
Improper decisions, we all must stall.
