The Web Poetry Corner - Dina Dinsmoor - What I did This Summer

What I did This Summer

by

Dina Dinsmoor

Dining with the french I was not insulted
I rode through two narrow trees on a magic horse
I fished with Paul on a small pond that
was as beautiful as the English countryside
and caught two cutthroughts
but did not
save them for breakfast
