The Web Poetry Corner - Dina Dinsmoor - Spinning Room

Spinning Room

by

Dina Dinsmoor

Soft shadows they circle round here
Now I don't see so clear
Dusty walls surround me now
I reach a light switch on the wall

Did these pictures always sway
I don't think this was the way
it was and was the floor a bit more still
I feel- do you feel a chill

Oh when things were so calm
I wanted more to be around
All I wanted was some change
I only hope now I am safe

Come closer now and come near
I'm spinning, spinning in this fear
I only find that you are gone
I'm left, I'm lost, and I'm alone

NEXT?
Why don't you look at Mientras tu hablas
