Here is the untrodden snow
Anticipating hieroglyphs
Of the creative

Here is the drumskin
Of cherished thoughts
Where the heart vibrates
Its secret stirrings
To a permanent rhythm

Here is the comfortable sheet
Which shields those vulnerable ideas
From prying eyes
Until they are ready to be exposed

Here is the white sand
For the scrawl
Where mind treasures
Are unearthed
