That warm bright flashing spark
Bright moment of laughter
Burns an impression
Of love in my heart

This expression of yours
A wonderful smile
A Path to your soul
Becomes a light that guides me
Through stormy times

The problems of the human race
Troubles I must face
Your smile is locked in my memory
Renewed each time we meet
Completing a new journey

The blessing of that smile
Warms to rival the sun
Is bigger than my understanding
And more fun

Your smile nurtures growth
You hold the power
To project great joy
Through that image

Each time I catch that smile
It makes me once again whole
Increases my capacity for compassion
Supports me like a bridge
Over miles and miles of life
