To survive
In a world
Which rotates
Shakily
Without conviction
Children grow
Until no longer

Wish to know
Care to dream
Utterances unheard
They become
Apathetic adults
Who in turn
Cannot condone
Mundane inconveniences
Of nurturing
A next generation
Their blanketed sportscars
Sit
Parked adjacent
To an abortion clinic
Children Scream
For attention

To survive
In a world
Which rotates
Shakily
Without conviction
Children grow
Until no longer
