Captured Forest

Forests roam free
Expanding wilder lands of life
Blanketing peaceful green
Covering mountain terrain.

Suddenly without warning
Industry attacks
With explosive force.

Earth crumbles.
Jaws cut into land
Life screams in agony.

Forests are taken captive.
The wilderness is caged by power lines.
It can’t grow out.
