WHAT IS LOVE?

What is love? I wonder.
Does anyone really know?
Can it last forever?
Or does it come and go?

We say we love so many things
Which make our world so bright,
Like the glitter of the falling snow
And the warmth of bright sunlight.

But when you meet that someone
Who sets your heart aglow,
Is it love or infatuaton?
How do you reallly know?

And will that certain someone
Feel the way you do?
Or will he maybe just pretend,
Then break your heart in two?

I think love's a gamble,
I'll tell you the reason why,
It's love that makes the world go round,
So why not give love a try?
Then break your heart in two
