The Web Poetry Corner - Delores Senkbeil - SO LONELY (Sensual)

SO LONELY (Sensual)

by

Delores Senkbeil

Darling, I'm so lonely
These nights when we're apart.
I wish that I could give you
A key to open up my heart.

I hug my pillow every night
And make believe it's you.
Sometimes it's so hard to believe
I feel the way I do.

I put my fingers to my lips
And kiss them tenderly,
Pretending they are your lips
And you are kissing me.

Passion comes so naturally
While I'm holding you oh, so near.
I pretend that you are saying,
'I love you so, my dear.'

So once again what I have to do
To release this exotic pressure,
Is rely upon my personal friend,
A friend whom I also treasure.
