MY FRIENDS

Just sitting here, feeling kinda lonesome.
Lstening to soft beautiful music.
Music that bring back memories of the past.
I can't believe how my life has changed,
During the last few years.

I always felt rather contented, satisfied.
Never expressed my true feelings to anyone.
In fact, I thought it was quite normal,
To keep them to myself.

But, now with this poetic hobby of mine,
I find these feelings flow so freely
Right from my heart to anyone who will listen.
Making this heart of mine feel so much lighter.

Many of my expressed feelngs are fantasy.
Many wishful thinking, some are true.
One thing I know for sure.
Life now seems so much more worthwhile
Since I found so many wonderful friends
