JUST DREAMING OF YOU
by
Delores Senkbeil
The lake is serene, the waters so blue,
I sit at the shore, dear just dreaming of you.
The fleecy white clouds are having such fun
Playing hide and go seek with the warm summer sun.
So gently the waves are fondling the sand,
Like the soft sweet caress of a lovers's hand.
Children all around me, so carefree and gay
Rejoicing in the splendor of this heavenly day.
These wonders of nature go on endlessly,
Like my love for you, that forever will be.
I love you so, darling, and miss you so too.
Oh, why must I go on, dear, just dreaming of you?
