I can't help wondering, darling,
Just where you are tonight,
Wish you were here besides me
Holding me oh, so tight.

You're so far away from me.
I really don't know where.
I know you're also thinking of me.
We have a special love, so rare.

I have to live with memories.
Maybe for a long, long time.
Now the clouds are dark, my dear.
Someday the sun will shine.

Each night while I'm lying in bed,
My mind goes reminiscing.
I can feel your hands caress me,
While my eager lips you're kissing.

God, please keep my darling safe.
Don't take him away from me.
Put love back in ALL our hearts,
Then forever peace we'll see.
