The Web Poetry Corner - Delores Senkbeil - GARDEN OF DESIRE (Sensual)

GARDEN OF DESIRE (Sensual)

by

Delores Senkbeil

I had reserved a place for us,
In the Garden of Desire.
Where all the things they taught us,
Have set our hearts on fire.

They made us glow with sexual passion.
They taught us the art of kissing.
When they taught us the art of caressing,
We realized what we had been missing.

Practice makes perfect, so they told us.
You looked at me, I looked at you.
We couldn't wait to be alone,
To find out if all this teaching was true.

A feathery teasing kiss, hands caress the face.
Then your tongue caresses only the lips.
While you whisper sweet love words,
You slowly open the lips with finger tips.

You feel moist warm lips kiss your fingers.
Your eager lips finally meet.
Oh, what joy and rapture!
This kiss is so thrillingly sweet.

To feel that erotic sensate pleasure,
They taught us that caresses must be slow,
And kisses must follow caresses,
To feel the rapture of that ultimate glow.

We learned so much in the Garden of Desire.
We learned things we never knew.
Why don't you reserve a place tonight,
So you can learn the art of love too?
