The Web Poetry Corner - David Mascellani - Fun

David Mascellani

I thought that it was enough.
But it wasn't.
It was too much.
Which is better than not enough.
But still it was wasteful.
I mean we had to throw a lot away.
Man,those trumpets were swinging.
I wonder what your neighbours thought.
They didn't complain
Which was good of them.
Lady, where did you learn to dance like that?
I like the way you dance.
The food was good.
The ratio was ok.
But then I am anti-social.
Well, a-social perhaps.
I liked the home-made wine;
And the music;
And some of the conversations;
And the way your dog pissed on that snooty woman's leg
That's all for now.
I'll see you tommorow.
