O tempo passou,
Mas as doces lembranças permanecem.
Lá está ele,
Como sempre,
Fiel,
Guardando o que restou.

Deitado,
Ao relento,
Junto a ele vemos tábuas, telhas, calhas,
Tudo em desalinho,
Anunciando o fim de um lar,
Agora em demolição.

Mas,
Para ele,
Ainda é o seu lugar.
Assim,
Amanhece,
E lá ele está,
Como um legítimo guardião,
Deitado,
Enroscado,
Até alguém daí o levar.
Oxalá,
Espera-se que
seu dono não vá lhe abandonar.
