The Web Poetry Corner - Clarius Ugwuoha - The Ageless Child

The Ageless Child

by

Clarius Ugwuoha

A child unborn
Several years since
The child unborn
Grew beard in my womb!

Good child you are
Wonder of the wound
Only beard to tell the age
Yet giant of the womb.

The darkness here
Blinds eagle-eye
Fertile womb-soil
Sprouts ageless growth

Good child of the womb
builds ebulient castles
undeterred by the darkness
In the unreality of the womb!
