The Web Poetry Corner - Clarius Ugwuoha - THE MOON

THE MOON

by

Clarius Ugwuoha

The moon, the moon
Running fast in the sky
Dear moon come down
The clouds are angry and dark

The moon, the moon
Where are you going today
Dear moon come down
You must be tired and worn

The moon, the moon
Darkening up in the sky
Dear moon cheer up
The children are playing today!
