The Web Poetry Corner - Clarius Ugwuoha - BOY JESUS IS BORN
BOY JESUS IS BORN
by
Clarius Ugwuoha
Little child he came
But not as you did!
Boy child he was born
In a manger at night
Wrapped in a cloth
On mum's arms he lay
Quietly asleep
In the manger at night
The three wise men saw
A bright star in the East
Guided by the star,
Came to the manger at night
Wise as they are
They know what he'll be
They gave him gifts
In the manger at night
Frankincense was one
And gold and myrrh
So much for a child
In a manger at night!
NEXT?
Why don't you look at
An old Migrant
