There is something incredibly hostile about the day
I feel so out of place in the sun's light
I don't feel welcome in its rays
Like I am some stranger at a party
Where no one talks to me
Ah! But the moon!
The moon embraces me
As one of its own
And lets me know
I'm not alone.
