OATH OF A CHILD

Herewith, I solemnly state declare
I will regard my Father and Mother;
I will respect and honor the olders
I will do my best to help all Other.

I promise that I will speak the Truth
I will not hurt anyone by bad words;
That I will not be lazy in my work
Never harm anyone by guns or swords.

That I will follow good guidelines
I will not tell a lie and I will not rob;
I will not steal and to steal is a sin
I will not be in a gang nor be a mob.

That I will not bother other people
I will not be angry selfish and rough;
I will remain polite kind and humble
I promise to be good when I grow up.

I will not laugh at people who are different
I will not be prejudice I will not discriminate;
To autistic, handicapped, lame and deaf
To poor, homeless and to unfortunate.

That I will keep my body and mind strong
My motto is for progress, harmony and peace;
To understand differences of right and wrong
To stop fight, war, jealousy, crime, anguish.
