The Web Poetry Corner - Candi Timmerman - barbituate
barbituate
by
Candi Timmerman
barbituate stares are back,
my friend;
the hollow stares of folk with
too much stimulant
in veins that are screaming for oxygen.
i know.
i am on eof the blank faced,
mulling around
and pondering the furthur existence of a life
lived through drugs.
