The Web Poetry Corner - Candi Timmerman - August 24, 2000
August 24, 2000
by
Candi Timmerman
I want to be fade proof
I want to be the one you cannot be tire of.
I want you too much, want your smile,
Want your touch.
Don’t cast me away,
Keep looking at me
The way you are now.
I don’t need you,
Don’t want to.
But I long for your face,
Your perfect face.
Your hands on mine,
Your lips against mine_
Your body molded with mine.
Perfection, beauty,
But sadness
Take me now.
NEXT?
Why don't you look at
An ageing gipsy woman
