Why Am I Doing This To Me?

by

C. E. Chandler

I can't tell her how I feel,
when I look into her eyes.
Why can't my dreams be real,
what's between us that lies?

I see her face in my mind,
and it is her voice I hear.
Together we are two of a kind,
and we are without fear.

No matter how much I feel,
no matter how much I see.
I'm sure this can never be real,
so, Why Am I Doing This To Me?
