A Prayer For Thanksgiving

It may be that I'm old fashioned, but it seems today
were to involved in having fun to take time to pray.

Be thankful for treasures that are ours to keep,
the fruit of honest labor and the joy of happy sleep.

Here at this table we now pray,
keep us together along the way.

Let your love and your grace,
shine down upon this feasting place.
