My friends names in my book

Only my friends names are in
my book please won't you take
a look.
Some are alive some have passed
but only my friends all last.
Yes your name is in my book just
take a look.
People ask me why yours because
you were the first to say I
could write when I talked to
you night after night.
My book will be out very soon
and you will see it was not me.
See your my friend and will
always be. look all the fun we
had why did you make me sad.
You know I am not that way
you were with me day after day.
