A rose for you my friend,
just place it in your hair.
This rose for you so you know
that I am still there.
A rose for you to show you
yes, I still care.
I am the one that always plays
fair. For you I will always
be there.
A rose to put a smile back on
a pretty face I give you this
rose because of no smile on your face.
The rose is a sign of someone’s, love
like the flight of the dove. God will
not let me get away so this rose
I give you today!
