Material matters.

All of tangible nature
In us
And around us
Is metaphor
For the intangible spirit-world in us
And around us.

The light from a matchstick flame,
Hard Physics tells us,
Lives forever
Long after
The fire
Itself has died out
For all eternity.

Commonsense tells us
The same
Is true about
This soul in this body.
