What was finished?
What accomplished?

At the foot of the cross in full erection,
The Christ looking on in impotent indignation,
Holy priests for countless generations,
In impiously mocking genuflections,
Boy-buggering
Silently suffering
Children

Of whom "Such is the kingdom of heaven."

And now sinful Sodom (in defiance again
Wagging its head at God's biblical destruction)
Demanding ecumenical recognition,

Is sacerdotally being given
Blessed-sacramental benediction!

It is finished?

Only if you meant, Jesus Christian,
"Extinguished!
This species beneath redemption!"
