In the front line of God's defences
King David must cross to enter Heaven
Will stand God's other chosen champion,
Uriah, the Hittite,
A most loyal soldier ordered to fight
At a point in the battle
Ensured he would be killed
That the criminal lust of the Bethlehemite
Might royally abuse the cries
Of a widowed wife!
