The Web Poetry Corner - Arnab De - Nights and MonAmi
Nights and MonAmi
by
Arnab De
The moon was shy, the birds didn’t fly
Not a lamp; no hint of light_
It was an enigmatic night!
She inebriated us, like she always does;
Not a glass or wine_
It was still a whiskeyed night!
As passions built, she sighed in guilt;
Love seemed a clandestine crime_
It was such a chameleon time!
And then lips locked lips, toes and finger tips
Nothing is wrong now; nothing right_
It was a terrific dark night!
I slept with sex at night!
