The Web Poetry Corner - Arnab De - Missing you

Missing you

by

Arnab De

I remember how it used to be...
When nothing else mattered but you and me.
Love, more love, Rituporna, Ritu and Ri!

I miss you; I wish you could see...
How much I think about you and me...

I remember when you said, I was your everything. And then you held me, I remember that too. Now, from across the world, it's more like a phrase. And your sweet musings make me cry over you.

These days we call to say hi; those days we could never say bye
I go away and there you are... Control me from somewhere afar. Far away, and you kill the heart...Like a sweet nothing, tear me apart.

Deep in my heart, there is a crack.
It was created a while ago... Because I just want you back.
We are friends forever; and also in love...
You proved everything that I ever dreamt of
Come back Ri, Life is lonely
I wish I would not say this...but then I can't...
I know I should...If only I could;
I have tried and tried. The endless solution; I cried and cried.

Tears of pain and tears of hope...
Tears of joy
Rain together_
You inspire in me an aspiration forever!

I remember how it used to be...
When nothing else mattered but you and me.

Those times, when ages stood perfectly still...
and we kissed that perfect kiss.
Why did Calcutta take it from me? It's because that is a reality_
