The Web Poetry Corner - Arnab De - A moment called Taj Mahal

A moment called Taj Mahal

by

Arnab De

A lazy night strolled by with her question
What if there was no Taj Mahal?
India would still be beautiful,
With lumps of white marble!

And so I lay back as hours flew past
What if I lost her moments and words?
The canter of time would still be felt,
And not a letter would be lost...

But beauty is not in time, rocks or any other...
A wonder is a moment, when his curve fits her
For what good is a language with no rhyme,
Or a venomous tumor called vacuous time?

In the images of a million Taj, you are my monument;
In our journey with time, let us count our moments...

NEXT?
Why don't you look at Courage
