The Web Poetry Corner - Anne Strausser - untitled

untitled

by

Anne Strausser

I've always admired those whom walk on sunshine.
And deplored those who walk with an attitude
of self rightousness.
They think the world is owed to them.
It doesn't matter who's a deserving friend.
Thinking they walk with a stride.
WIth such arrogance they should hide.
I'll tell you In my life,
I've met a friend or two,
Most of them I've had a beating,
but still consider a friend.
BUt one of these people that has
a halo of attitude he's really a walking fool.
He really needs to cash in the diploma he got at school.
Because in him I see no man.
And I try to see the things with a smile.
Never with such a gross attitude,
similar to another I know.
with a structure like that,
only a fate of hatred will grow.
Try to wish for the best I can.
I just wish this person would understand,
what it really means to be a man.
i just wish this person had the knowledge of a man.
because fate works in circles.
it focuses on its own plan.
He like another I know in my life.
makes me glad I'm who I am.
and proud I'm not cashing in on money before mytime.
Because a cruel heart will only make
him broke and living on the unemployment line.
