The Web Poetry Corner - Anne Strausser - sunshine

sunshine

by

Anne Strausser

The sunshine preludes the earth.
With the brightest of its rays.
The shout of its spirit,
to brighten ones day.
While some live life in differant tonesof gray.
Let the rays collide,
onto a suncatcher of colors of brilliance for today.
Rule your world with suttle tone of mirth.
But for today I'd choose pink.
The passionate intellectual side of birth.
Whatever colors rule your world,
Just go out and play hard,
but don't forget to letin the sun.
