secret love
by
Anne Strausser
Sneaking away in the break of day,
or in the midst of night.
To meet the perfect love that
makes you feel so deserving alive.
The lover in the break of day,
is really a rented love,
a contrite sabatorer is what i can say.
you don't get the clue as your friends sneer
and look the other way.
not to mention the break of hearts,
if not evident now will start.
just think of the perfect love,
that says your the only love of his life
than vividly he lied.
living in this dilema slowly strips your pride.
not to mention the bitterness and shame
from the tears you cried.
the best of love is not meant to hide.
while some are sincere,
walk in a straight path,
you wonder what went wrong,
renting this lover,
you deserve more,
but still in delusion the high,
but you can never run from truth,
even if it makes you numb,
and truely happy,
that can't be denied.
there's a perfect mate somewhere in the world.
try not to pick a lover that will make you deplored
