The framed ONe
by
Anne Strausser
I saw my best friends life,
being stripped away.
A good person, nobel and kind.
But the victor of a deadly deception
he could barely relish the unspoken words to say.
watching as all gather in line.
they swarm like locusts to suck the
blood from within life.
why still the weight is upon her
she wonders still today.
she could barely relish the unspoken words to say.
they swarm like locusts,
the purpose to drain a worthy life.
but still she remains,
a determined one.
while some like being seduced with deception.
and wish she wouldn't stay.
she still looks on the other way.
she could barely relish the unspoken words to say.
a worthy life framed,
they swarm like locusts,
but she still to nobel and won't go down that way.
she
she'd rather be on the straight line,
and not give in to the deadly games they play.
