SteppingStones

Come tread on still waters.
Place your feet firmly on my stone.
Cast your wishes onto the shores.
Deep down our thoughts are similar,
with unique and desperte needs.
What will your wish be,
Will it bring us closer,
Step on another stone.
If you can cast off the shadowsof ignorance
and selfishness.
Accept if even just parts of me,
for a part is important.
So your acceptance of any weakness and differance.
If you truely will linger and love me.
I'll no longer be alone.
So take a tiny step, think about it first,
If you're ready leap to the next stone.
I'll toss a penny heads or tales.
This is a test I don't want you to fail.
Because when you make that leap you could miss the stone.
And miss the chance of a friendship that could of grown.
After all we're all just stepping stones.
