One Summers' NIght
by
Anne Strausser
It had happened one summer night.
SInce then there's been a tremendous
fight apon life.
Such a devestated startle upon
such a beautiful person.
The destruction follows,
as such hope and promise and intelligience.
witnessing the painful leftovers.
with such perseverance
but still life hollows.
this fight just isn't right.
once living within the light.
now darkness shadows,
with intentional drugery,
making things a bitter fight.
as the interception of fate,
dangles a life.
when someone tries to cross the line.
forcing their will against yours and mine.
makes a person wish that there life is tucked in tight.
