The Web Poetry Corner - Anne Strausser - Confusion of Racism

Confusion of Racism

by

Anne Strausser

Why has the world with such lack of individual integrity.
Made a lasting impact of personal growth.
By the borders of racial compromise.
In such a devisive worldly ruin,
has shattered peoples lives with slothe.
When there was separation by a race,
And all its ugly disgrace.
Shouldn't people be secure in life.
Follow the rules, be touch with love.
Maybe when the constitution was wrote,
a slight forsight of the HUMANRACE.
why should an individual,
be declared to swallow their pride.
Even in their humanity,
they must want to hide.
There should be no borders of race.
Just humans in the world with no disgrace.
love is a much better place.
