Bargaining Game
by
Anne Strausser
To some peoples' life's a bargaining game.
They live on borrowed time.
Never putting strong emphasis on anyting is a shame.
Thinking they're unworthy of love is lame.
Because of a conflict that caused a stain.
When the meaning of ones existance is weak
it's difficult to remain sain.
But never allowing true love to grasp their life
only they;re to blame.
So instead of sunshine and rainbows
they're life gets rain.
Thou greed will take their spirit only so far.
The false luxury of material possessions
and human degregation.
Is the cruelest and most dangerous attempt.
When they don't know how to cry.
The depth of irony is, the contagiousness'
of loneliness is leading themto die.
when love does exist you still have to wonder why.
