The Girl Who Lives In A Sad World

by

Angela Darlene Bean

She lives her life
as a secret
She lives everyday with depression
She hates herself
She hates her body
She's self-conscious
Shes stuck in a world
where she believes she has to be perfect
She thinks she's fat
She cares what people think
In reality she's beautiful
She's scared what people will think
She lives her life as someone else
If only she'd see the beauty she has
She's weak
She's already had a breakdown
She's an insecure, quiet, poet
She's living her life in darkness
The sun will come out in her eyes
The girl who lives in a sad world
