The Web Poetry Corner - Angela Darlene Bean - Nothing To See

Nothing To See

by

Angela Darlene Bean

There's nothing here
the smell of fear
and the smell of beer
there's nothing to see
I can't see you
and I can't see me
I fall on the floor
there's nothing to see
there's nothing to hear
you look at me
which isn't much

just some kid
with alcohol on her breath
running from death
and running the one's she hates
but it'll all soon catch up
and she'll do whatever she has to
you look at me
nothing much to see
only skin and bones
very boney
nothing good
you walk away like you should

NEXT?
Why don't you look at All Through The Night
