Call To The Mistress

by

Angela Darlene Bean

She calls her mistress on the phone
Telling her mistress when she'll be home
her darling dear will be a little late
she ran into her birth mother, must be fate
she calls her mistress to explain
saying she's sorry to be such a pain
this woman she's meeting is not her birth mother
the woman is her ex, there to talk and catch up
the woman says sorry and drinks from her cup
the 2 drink frappacinnos
the woman a flilippino
she calls her mistress saying she'll be late
she tells her mistress, her lover, not to stay up and wait
