The Web Poetry Corner - Angela Bean - Tangled Thoughts

Tangled Thoughts

by

Angela Bean

I run in a maze
I fall in a daze
I scream in the craze
I know there are ways
The light shine's bright
And I stare in fright
With this angry terror in me
I can only see
I can only see me, screaming in rage
yelling beyond belief
pulling out my hair
shredding my papers in angry rage
getting on stage & singing will stop my angst

But I cannot stop my hate for him
sometimes he's nice and cool
but then I feel like a demon
ready to breathe fire to the one's I hate
I know it may be a mistake
and no it won't shake
this hatred I have
but he caused this hatred I have
I will always be angry, mad and mean
I will always be cruel, and in pain
