The Web Poetry Corner - Alfy Andrews - safe from the darts
safe from the darts
by
Alfy Andrews
On my long and narrow way to Zion
some days I forget to pray
Those days I hear the roaring lion
With mouth open, pouncing on the prey
I soon feel the pain all over me pass
Why do I bleed?..why am I wounded?
Then I discover Darts as the cause
yea darts from beelzebub, on me targeted
I then run to the closet and kneel
And say a prayer to Jesus, to heal
For underneath His blood, security I feel
NEXT?
Why don't you look at
