The Web Poetry Corner - Alfy Andrews - not a stain but a scar
not a stain but a scar
by
Alfy Andrews
My friend you could search in my life, many a fault
My brother in Christ, you could trace back my black spot
Iam no longer ashamed, listen to the explanation Ive got
Who am I?,Whats my strength?,nothing cause Iam dust
You may be strong but Iam a weak soul, remember that first
It pleased God to save us both,His work is not in vain
You brought Him glory, but I fell, gave His heart much pain
I sinned and I was mauled by the tempter, I bore the stain
I then cried to Jesus to forgive me, and He gladly did
Now my Soul's nigh to my saviour, once it went afar
My past life He forgot, and now teaches my hands to war
now brother dont look down upon me,for Iam only wearing a scar.
