The Web Poetry Corner - Alfy Andrews - I see you the most Jealous
I see you the most Jealous
by
Alfy Andrews
Lord you are making me cry
I cannot control though I may try
The tears roll down so swiftly
Like the withered foliage from the tree
Jesus, why do you ask me to leave?
The few things to which I closely cleave
For Ive kept them from my childhood
I allocated the choice closets of my heart
To those things, yea by them I stood
Lord, now they have all ingrained into my parts
Father I have to die,if I need to put them away
Lord I love them , Jesus, please let them stay
Jesus I love you too, yea I want you both
But Lord ,you are not willing, though I take an oath
Jesus my King , I see you the most Jealous
For you want nothing to interfere between us
