Where is peace?

All over the world ,in all homes there is noise

partly due to girls and partly due to boys
All over the world , in all forests there is noise

partly due to animals and partly due to bird's voice
All over the world , in all factories there is noise

partly due to machines and partly due to alloys
All over the world , everywhere there is activity

partly they are serious and partly they are funny
Fine all is fine, but where is quietness and peace?

Aint no solid peace even when all activities cease
Yes I find absolute peace, when I lock the door

When in submission my knees bow, and contacts the floor
The time I spend with my saviour Jesus is so sweet

This communion with Him is stirring and complete
This blessed hour of quiet time makes the soul active

It is filled with the peace that the world cannot give
